Were 2 Start
For educational and risk prevention I would recommend that a person start within a demonstration account until you feel comfortable with the specific platform and its features. I personally use MT4 as its the only platform I have full user-friendly control over my transactions.
When u feel like really getting your feet into the water I would recommend you save up a 500 of your base currency and open a real "training" account at a leverage of 1:200 enabling you to enter either 1 or 10 % of your account at a moments notice.
If you are in a country with a weaker currency I would say starting off within a micro account lessening the costs at first. For example a South African should open a micro account that has a leverage of 1:200 with a minimum of about R500. Once the R500 turned into 5000 I would say ok go ahead and make increasing adjustments.
The leverage of 1:200 is a very important factor that allows you to make a profit of positive transactions and minimize the losses taken on negative transactions.
Ok now we got a trading account with 500 base currency on a leverage of 1:200 and we can start preparing the charts for the algorithm.
